Taylor Wilkins made a name for himself at La Marque High School as a clutch kicker. He proved he hasn’t lost his touch on the college level.
Wilkins hit a 28-yard field goal in double overtime to give Sam Houston State a 34-31 victory over Stephen F. Austin. The win was the Bearkats’ first in conference play.

La Marque grad Jared Perry had 44 yards receiving in Missouri’s 31-28 win over Baylor.
